Lump on my gum?

I think I know what you're talking about. I don't know what it was, but one time I had a big lump on my outer -lower-right gum. it just kept getting bigger and hurt like hell, then one day, a hole got punctured into it and it was filled with puss. I squeezed and sucked out as much as I could and spit it in the trash. For a few weeks, I had this... skin hanging off my gum, but it healed up. I'd recommend having it looked at though...
