Smoking question?

I am going to be applying for life insurance in the next month or so. My question is about smoking. I smoked a few cigarettes a few weeks ago while out at the bar. I have done that occasionally, probably like once or twice a year, but am not a regular smoker. Will this show up on the swab test? If so, what period of time should I let elapse before I take the test. I am not trying to beat the system or anything as I would happily stop the occasional cig if it would make a difference on insurance payments. It's not important to me to smoke. I guess im just trying to make sure I don't get punished as a smoker when i'm not one.
