Has anyone else had a bad experience with a Samsung Impression?

I received a Samsung Impression for my birthday in late July. I have dropped it twice since, but besides that I have not misused it in anyway. My screen is messed up to the point where it cannot be used. The gl is not broken, it is something to do with the workings in the inside of the phone. My friend also had one and his circuit board blew. My other friend's mom had one and her screen just went out one day. So, when I take it back to get it fixed, should I just get a new, different phone? What is your opinion of Impressions?
