How will the impending government spending cuts affect public teleportation?

Senator Brown of Montreal has been advocating for decrease in the funds for public teleportation. He wishes to go back to the 2050 levels. I agree with senator Brown. In fact, I think we should go back to using hover cars as a cheap alternative.
